Re-Aim Therapeutics Establishes Scientific Advisory Board of Leading Experts in Autoimmune Diseases

OXFORD, U.K., 7th August 2026 – Re-Aim Therapeutics, an innovative biotechnology company developing functional cures for T cell-mediated autoimmune diseases, today announced the establishment of its Scientific Advisory Board (SAB), comprising global key opinion leaders across a range of autoimmune disorders driven by pathogenic T cells.

The company’s newly formed SAB will guide Re-Aim’s mission of delivering functional cure to patients suffering from autoimmune disease. The SAB will help ensure Re-Aim positions its various programmes in patient populations most in need of transformational therapies.

The members of the SAB are as follows:

Andrew Blauvelt, MD is Adjunct Professor in the Department of Dermatology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He was previously a Senior Investigator at the NIH, a Professor of Dermatology and Immunology at Oregon Health & Science University, and Owner and President of Oregon Medical Research Center, where he was an international leading clinical trialist for many years. Dr Blauvelt is a world authority on psoriasis and other inflammatory skin diseases, and was the lead author on the KNOCKOUT study, which serves as the basis for the practice-changing idea of once yearly dosing of biologics for patients with psoriasis. He is also an elected member of the American Society for Clinical Investigation, the International Psoriasis Council, the International Eczema Council, and is the Chair of the Medical Board for the National Psoriasis Foundation.

Christopher Buckley, MD is the Kennedy Trust Feldmann Maini Professor in Translational Medicine at the Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology Oxford. His work has demonstrated that fibroblasts exist in functionally distinct subsets that drive either inflammation or damage. This finding led to him becoming a cofounder of Mestag Therapeutics. He was awarded the Carol Nachman Award in 2020 and the William Harvey Medal in 2021. Before moving to Oxford in 2021 he was the Arthritis Research UK Professor of Rheumatology in Birmingham. He is currently Director of the Oxford NIHR Experimental Medicine Clinical Research Facility.

Iain McInnes, PhD, FRCP, FRSE, FMedSci, CBE is Head of College of Medical Veterinary and Life Sciences, and Vice Principal, University of Glasgow, and serves also as the Muirhead Professor of Medicine and Arthritis UK Professor of Rheumatology in the University. He is past director of the Versus Arthritis Centre of Excellence for Inflammatory Arthritis, lead from the University of Glasgow that includes Universities of Oxford, Newcastle and Birmingham. He is a Trustee on the Board of Arthritis-UK. He is past Chairman of Foreum (Foundation for European Rheumatology Research) Scientific Committee and now sits on Foreum Board as a trustee. He is Past-President of the European Alliance of Rheumatology Associations (EULAR). Under these auspices he led the creation of the first pan-European Rheumatology Research Centre launched in 2021. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh and Fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences.

Hussein Al Mossawi, BMBCh, MRCP, DPhil is a clinician scientist with over 15 years of experience across rheumatology and immunology drug development. He earned his medical degree and doctorate from the University of Oxford, where he subsequently led a research group studying pathological immune responses in inflammatory disease. He then held several senior roles in immunology research and clinical development at AstraZeneca, UCB and Immunocore and published over 50 peer reviewed papers in the immunology and rheumatology space. He continues to hold an honorary research position at Oxford and is a fellow and lecturer in pathology and immunology at St Edmund Hall.

Founder and Chief Scientific Officer Asher Maroof commented: “I’m thrilled to have such a prestigious team of scientists and clinicians working with us to advance our programmes at Re-Aim. Each member of the Scientific Advisory Board will bring invaluable knowledge and perspective as we continue to develop our therapies for patients struggling with chronic autoimmune diseases. As our lead programme prepares for clinical entry, the guidance from our Scientific Advisory Board will be critical to help ensure we identify those patients who will benefit the most.”

About Re-Aim Therapeutics

Re‑Aim Therapeutics is redefining how autoimmune diseases are treated by selectively depleting the pathogenic T cell subsets that drive chronic inflammation, autoimmunity and disease progression. By integrating human pathway signatures and transcription factor-linked membrane targets, we pinpoint the precise T cells coordinating and maintaining the autoimmune responses. By drugging precise target epitopes in their functional state and within the relevant disease context, we achieve a level of selectivity that conventional expression profiling and engineering approaches cannot reach. Our mission is to deliver functional cures across a broad spectrum of autoimmune conditions. We are a team with exceptional antibody discovery and development expertise, world‑class scientific advisors, and committed investors, all aligned around rigorous execution and transformative impact.
